Overview

Business Funding Shop Ltd (BFS) are specialists in alternative funding solutions for businesses, helping organisations of all sizes grow without the need to rely on traditional lending sources such as the banks where lending criteria is often rigid.As a new business, they were starting from nothing with regards to their marketing. They were seeking a marketing partner that could help them develop their brand and website from the ground up to reflect the ethos of the business and appeal to their target audience.

Following the completion of the website, they required further support to establish the business and the brand online using the platforms which were to prove most effective to help the business grow.

Approach

Our relationship with BFS started with our team working closely with them to design the new branding, logo, brand guidelines and tone of voice. This involved a workshop with the Directors to clearly listen and understand who they were, their ethos and what message they wanted to convey.

From this workshop, we were able to develop the brand literature which could be used to help with the design and development of the new website as well as for the business to refer to in all future marketing to ensure a consistent brand message and tone of voice.

We then created a clean, simple and easy to use website which would act as the basis to help increase the presence of the business online and act as a platform to showcase their expertise and services.

As part of the website build, we provided copywriting services to produce all website content and case studies. This copy reflected the tone of voice agreed as part of the earlier branding work but was also optimised for relevant keyword phrases to help the website start to rank organically.

Results

Following the completion of the website, we recommended a Google Ads strategy to provide instant visibility for key terms and the use of LinkedIn to build credibility of the brand and show expertise.Whilst the business continued to grow, Google Ads became the key platform to drive traffic to the website and generate leads. Our team worked closely with the Directors of BFS to refine the paid advertising and produce better quality leads.

Within the first 7 months, the Google Ads produced over 6000 clicks to the website and generated almost a 10% conversion rate.
